Equipment preset bubbles + swipe-to-cycle

One numbered bubble per rig, each holding its own body, lens and roll; swipe to cycle.

Where to find it

Viewfinder Equipment icon; main UI swipe gesture

Summary

The Equipment modal shows a horizontally-scrollable Saved Equipment row above the Gear/Custom toggle. Each numbered bubble is a saved combo, and a caption under the row spells out what the active one currently holds. The Add (+) bubble creates a new preset from the current modal config. A preset carries the whole loaded roll, not just the bundled film enum: the custom stock, the push/pull ISO, and the expired-film state travel with it, so four bodies loaded with four different films each keep their own. On the main UI, swipe-to-cycle jumps between rigs without opening the modal.

How it works

Equipment presets are quick snapshots of gear combos you shoot regularly. One might be a Hasselblad with the 80/2.8 and Portra 400. Another might be a Leica M with a 35/2 and HP5. Tap a preset bubble and the whole rig changes.

Creating a preset

Set up your lens, body, and film the way you want in the Equipment modal. Tap the Add (+) bubble at the start of the Saved Equipment row. The app saves your current config into the next free slot and makes it active, so anything you change from then on writes into that slot.

A different film in every camera

Each bubble remembers its own roll. That covers the bundled stock, one of your own custom stocks, any push or pull you dialled in, and the expired-film settings. Shoot four bodies with four different films and you set each one up once: bubble 1 for the Nikon with HP5, bubble 2 for the Rollei with Portra, and so on. Switching bubbles switches the film with it, so metering follows whatever is actually in the camera you picked up.

Telling the bubbles apart

The bubbles stay numbered, so the line underneath the row names what the active one holds, for example 2: Rolleiflex 2.8F, Kodak Portra 400. It reads live rather than from the saved copy, which means it also shows you when an edit is landing in the current slot: change the body and the caption changes with it.

Using presets

In the main viewfinder, swipe left or right on the focal length ruler or the gear card to cycle through your saved presets. Each swipe flips to the next rig instantly. Tap it to open the modal and fine-tune.

Deleting

Tap the trash icon on a bubble, or long-press the number, to delete that slot. The remaining bubbles renumber to close the gap.

Implementation notes (for developers)
Equipment modal shows horizontally-scrollable Saved Equipment row above the Gear/Custom toggle; Add + bubble snapshots current modal config; swipe-to-cycle on main UI. EquipmentPreset.loadedRoll (nullable LoadedRoll: customFilmStockId, customIsoValue, expiredFilmYear, expiredFilmStorageName, expiredFilmCompensationEnabled, reciprocityCompensationEnabled) serializes as CSV fields 12-17 and is omitted entirely when never recorded, so presets saved before the roll became per-preset parse back as null and applyPresetToState leaves live film settings alone rather than clearing them. onSelectEquipmentPreset resolves customFilmStockId against _customFilmStocks before the _uiState.update because the active custom stock lives on its own StateFlow; an id whose stock was deleted falls back to the preset's bundled filmStockName. EquipmentPresetsRow gains activeSummary, fed by activePresetCaption (body + film, custom-stock aware) so bare numbered bubbles stay distinguishable and the write-through is visible.
