About this list
This is the same film catalog the Zone Light Meter app loads on startup. Adding a stock here adds it to the picker on your phone on the next release, so the two stay in lockstep.
The reciprocity exponent on each stock page is what the app uses for long exposures past one second. The values come from manufacturer datasheets where they exist (Kodak, Ilford, Fuji publish them as graphs), and from community measurements (Howard Bond, Gainer, photo-net threads) for the older stocks where the original datasheet is gone or never existed. None of this is guesswork; every number traces back to something.
Discontinued stocks are included on purpose. People shoot frozen Plus-X out of deep freezers. Boutique labs cross-process old Kodachrome as B&W. Knowing the reciprocity behavior matters even for a roll that hasn't been made since 2009.
